Where Do I Find Good Information On Travel–Part 1

by admin | June 5th, 2008

Let’s start off with one of the best and most frequently used sites to start learning about almost anything: Squidoo.Com.

“Squidoo is the world’s most popular site for building free, single pages about your passions. Highlight books, blogs, vids, online shops, or just spread the word about stuff you love. Bonus: you raise money (for you or charity) at the same time. It’s fast, free, and supereasy.”

Squidoo calls their web pages Lens. I guess, like eyeglasses, you can view the world through these lenses. Squidoo not only provides information on almost any subject through it’s 500,000 + lenses (authored by hundreds of authors), but it provides a free service to those of us (YOU included) who want a place to share knoweledge, or just spout off on a subject.

Just this morning, I ran a search on Squidoo for the keyword “travel” and it returned 997 entries. That’s a lot!! You can find information on almost any subject you want within that category. And if you don’t find it, and it’s something you know about, write your own Lens. After all, it’s free!

I have four lenses on travel in that group, and will be adding about four more in the near future. You’ll hear more about them in the near future as I discuss here the topics those lenses cover.

I will also add them to my “blogroll” (links) on this site.

Ok, that’s enough for now. Check out Squidoo.Com., and if you want to find my lenses, put in the keyword “anthropos“. That’s my name on Squidoo!
